There are only 2 deep sea ports in the region that can serve large vessels. One is Dubai and the other is Gwadar, Pakistan.

Gwadar is far from taking over from Dubai and I doubt many would want to...

Yeah it's all about building costs. In most of the world they build cheap houses with no cavity walls and usually just concrete or blocks so there is no insulation. The houses in the UK are fantastic...
