I have not had to re-qualify since moving out here as it turns out so haven't gone through the process. Has not been an issue for me but I do corporate so do not have to deal with...

Thanks Emma, that's helpful. I've been speaking to other resident lawyers/NSW law society and apparently the rules relating to exemptions are about to change to make it more difficult for overseas...
