It's encouraging to hear a story like this, as i am about to leave the UK with my Canadian missus, for Toronto. We also have no jobs, house, etc ..... but we are optimistic...

I posted my passport from Liverpool on friday 29th may, they received it monday 1st june and I got it back with the visa yesterday (18th). So thats pretty quick!

We are off to Toronto in august....

No. I was going to Barcelona for a few days, so only put it in the post on 29th May. They do say to allow up to 6 weeks, but everything has been pretty quick so far. So I'm not worried about not...

We sent the same as above and got the sponsorship approved on the same day they received it.

We haven't gone yet, but i was quoted Â£380 for 3 cubic meters plus a double bed, by GBS, for self packing and loading in Liverpool. The insurers they gave me quoted Â£78 for up to Â£3000 worth...
