In these months there is a mass exodus of 'grey nomads' heading north to avoid the rain , caravan sites are normally fully booked .

Personally I would avoid suburbs bordering the Perth-Armadale rail line . Really nice suburbs without being scary expensive are in the hills overlooking Perth ...Lesmurdie, Kalamunda , Gooseberry...
