Thanks Tony that is what I really wanted to know, as I said in my first thread, I am in no hurry. Although I'm sure my son would rather I move sooner rather than later. I take it once I reach 65 its...

I am looking at a long term plan of immigration to Australia and was wondering if I applied for a non contributory parent visa and at sometime in the future decided to opt for a contributory parent...

my son is an Australian citizen having lived there for the last 8 years; I was thinking of applying for a contributary parents visa, I am aware of the processing times for this type of visa but...
