From the UK...Working on Aramco project...Been in Riyadh KSA for 3 months now in 1 bed Apt outside compound...just wondering is their life out there!

I have been offered & accepted a job in the KSA starting next month.
I'm a little confused over the Settling-In Allowance of 60% of the 1st month's salary.

Is this paid on arrival or after the...

Cheers for tour advice spartans53....I was quite a well traveled man during the early 90's across Asia including Sri lanka during the Tamil Tiger wars ,working in Hong Kong & travels in South America.

I will be flying to Riyadh from the UK in a fortnight to take up a position with Saudi Aramco.
Could somebody explain to me about what happens upon arrival at airport & taken to my company...
