Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Thank you for your contribution.....I cannot get involved directly in anything illegal, but I would start with the estate agents if I had my way....

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

You certainly have a point there. In fact in this case, the guarantors, parents of my tenant are public figures in local government, and I believe that her father is an ex-judge.
Now that I am...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

I just returned from my interview with the solicitor at the College of Abogados.....an extract of that shows that you are entirely mistaken. It is an offence and breach of contract in Spain to change...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Thank you.....I feel that is probably quite an exaggeration, but if there is any truth in that statement, I fail to see why the forum bears this name - Surely it should be called 'Foro Nacionalista'...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

I have to agree with you on that issue, but this is not what your post stated....

Friend, not neighbour.....I agree that the proportion of Spanish people attending an Evangelical Church is...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

I totally agree.....now let me ask all of you a few questions:

What happens when you fail to meet the mortgage payments? Do you get to stay on the property free of charge and wait out the court...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Yes my friend, I am absolutely sure, I used to attend the same Church myself, and you are totally incorrect, the Evangelical Church has become extremely powerful today, with many of the same rights...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

You are quite right, of course, but I have also suffered discrimination as a foreigner on many occasions, and I suppose that I have become somewhat bitter in that regard and have come to blame the...

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

Re: An Englishman's home is his castle?

The same agency who let the property out also have it listed for sale. What I neglected to say, as this has been a very complex situation to explain in the context of a forum post is that the tenant...
