It was roughly '06 - '08 and I have had a year away from him while I was in the UK, now in Canada as I say.

Unfortunately everything rent-wise was in his name and it was just a banking...

The only thing I would add is that we do have a joint bank account as we opened one when I lived in the USA as I studied and worked for two...

1. I do realise there is a difference but from what I have been looking at with regards to common-law, although it does state: "who have been living together (cohabited) for at least one year" it...
