Here's something of interest to foreigners looking to emigrate to Norway! It's not an easy language to learn, and one has to be strongly motivated. I could never do it, and instead I waited for my grandchildren to learn English from the TV. My son could have taught them - and probably should have, but he learnt Norsk instead, the better to communicate with them when they were very young and living with their Norwegian mother.
