Default child maintenance

Hi,

I've just recently moved to Norway to work. I am a Norwegian resident but still I have a property in the UK which I rent out.

By law, do I still have to paid child maintenance in the UK? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hi,
I don't live in Norway, just across the road in Sweden, but I suspect that wherever you live in the EU you will be under an obligation to pay child maintenance if:
they are under 18, or
you have been placed under a court order to pay maintenance. The Child Support Agency will be after you pdq if you don't keep up the payments.

Ah, Blackie, but Norway is not in the EU. Strange but true.

But I agree that V would be extremely silly to flout a British court order. I'd hate to see him end up in the Ecuadorian Embassy!
