Re: Your Perfect Breakfast
According to "The Fry Up Police", this is the perfect one, and who am i to disagree - but I reckon that plate could feed at least 2.

Is there anything you will not eat, Miss Anne? What's verboten? Anyone else?
(No, not being snarky and there are no hidden implications - just attempting to keep the thread going). I won't touch avocados. Not the biggest fan of fish although I can tolerate salmon and have had a decent turbot or two in the past. |

That concentrated sulphurous excrement of the devil that is also referred to as Brussels sprouts (though, as you know, I love everything else to do with Brussels...).
Have you not had them sauteed with pancetta or lightly tossed in melted butter? |

Ah, quite the opposite here. Love brussels sprouts and despise everything to do with Brussels :sneaky:

Re: Your Perfect Breakfast
Brussels picked and cooked straight away are a lot better than those from the supermarket. Brussels fried in olive oil with chilli pepper and garlic are not bad at all.
Personally I like a bowl of porridge for breakfast but not easy to find good quality oats in Italy. |
Re: Your Perfect Breakfast
A small eggs benedict with some wilted spinach , mushrooms or a rasher . Wouldn't say no to adding in a grilled tomato either.

Re: Your Perfect Breakfast
Toast or fresh bread, butter, vegemite, coffee

I love raw tomatoes, and I love cooked peeled plum tomatoes, but ordinary grilled tomatoes are just slimy and gross devil's half-testicles. |
