Last year Choits on the Beach Road were selling christmas puds with booze in them - by mistake obviously! So they might be worth a try.

Sorry, meant to say they were selling them in the shop at the end of MOE, ground floor, just outside the doors to the hotel. Wrapped in that cheesecloth stuff - don't know what they taste like tho.

micne pies are bloody awful, christmas caske is far too heavy - and anyway I'm usually so full of turkey and roasties I couldn't have dessert no matter what it was.

Had a gorgeous lunch today at Shangri La - AD, Chinese, really fab, def the best Chinese i have had in AD, little bit pricey tho but worth it

I also found my xmas pudding. They have set up a little xmas goodie area in the lobby, selling some good looking Dundee Cakes, xmas cakes, cookies ..... oh and the xmas tree is fab and carols in the lobby on 24th Dec

Thanks MM for looking for me, I will tell u how it tasted when i have devoured it, all of it...

well, choithrams have coless ones, plus some tiny home made ones that don't look that good...the fairmont has one at 95 dhs, but you need 48 hours to order...
