Personally I would look to David Brent in this situation. He would know what to say.

If you had a pair of balls they would be in your mouth about now

I suspect the Russian pushed them there last week.

Born and Bred in Somilia, so he's the greatest Somalian Athlete, with a British Passport that lives in USA. See I have compromised.

Maybe I've lived here to long. Looks like UAE agrees with me

Mo should run for Somalia.

It's not the same at all, Mo was brought to the UK by his parents (one of which is UK born), at the age of 8, as such he was given a UK passport blah blah blah.

The Moldovans, as adults, were brought in specifically to win medals for the UAE. I do wonder when they have outlived their usefulness, will they be returned to Moldova and lose their UAE Passports? Why am i thinking yes.

Just cos you despise the guy, doesn't make YOU right.

It's an argument that's been around for ever. The media refer to them as "plastic brits"

61 of the British London 2012 team were "plastic"

That doesn't make you right though Igs

Big Mo only got a passport because of his Athletes, and his couch had to fund that application. Why because it isn't as a clear cut as you make it "His Dad was born here" They fiddled it.

He's not British, he was born in Somilia pays taxes in USA and does stupid Quorn adverts. He's about as British as Obama.

Show me that his Father is not a UK citizen and born in the UK.

Genealogy is my thing BTW.

Back to my original point. If my child is born in UAE, its not Emriati. It's British, culturally, historically and genealogically.

Mo Dad - Heritage Somalian, but "born - don't believe it for a second" in UK. Lived in.....Somalia
Mo Mum - Born and lived in...Somalia
Mo - Born and lived in Somalia (Now lives in USA so he doesn't pay taxes. So British of him)
Mo Brother - Born in Somalia
Mo Genes Somalian

Mo is not British. And thats not me saying he's not a superior athlete, i think he's a fantastic athlete, one of the best. But he's not British.
