Default World's Top 50 Restaurants

OK OK..........

Please put yourself into the right category:

- eaten at more than ten of them
- eaten at between one and ten of them
- eaten at none of them
- heard of some of them
- heard of none of them
- no interest in ever eating at any of them, ever

http://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/50-bes...-for-2012.html

Unaccountably, they missed out Rock Bottom...............

If you extend the list to the top 100, Zuma and La Petite Maison scrape in......

I was going to post this list, but with the option "live near there (and still never heard of it)".
Thread should be in The Lounge, I reckon - Mods?

Heard of one but haven't been to it

Ethos83 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: World's Top 50 Restaurants

I've eaten at six of the restaurants on the list.

Most of the rest I wouldn't recognise by name.

If ever there is an awards list for the most pointless awards list, this has to have a fair chance of winning. Ranking restaurants? really, is there anything more pointless?

I dunno. Boasting/ bragging about having eaten at them, maybe?

Have not heard of any of them. However since I have not been more than 200 miles from home in 10 years, not surprising. None on the list within 500 miles, so unlikely I will.

Just one for me, although saying that I'm terrible at remembering names of places far too blase for my own good.

Persoanly my favourite restuarant in London was the Fish in A tie In Clapham Junction, fantastic hidden gem,3 coure meal with good wine and fab atmospher for 20 quid, their menu was great and the food was delicious! And no pretenscious twats! oo im hungry now!

........ coincidentally, had my first Zuma experience on Thursday - the set lunch jobby.

Pleasant, but nothing to write home about.
