i dont put any of my workmates on Facebook. In fact, ive really clamped down on who is on it as there are lots of family stuff on there. Its the way we (a family who are all over the world) exchange photo's etc...

Commander - history lesson; Facebook was set-up for the University Students to exchange their photos. So I guess you're using it for exactly the right purposes.
I too have cut down on who I have on there. Some people I don't even know and can't remember why I would ever have accepted their friend request!! (Or maybe I requested them?! Not sure!).

If your going to be daft enough to invite co-workers/bosses, then set up the group privacy so they can't actually see anything.
I only ever added work colleagues when they became ex-colleagues
