I got out of bed one morning avec stiffy, scratched my nuts and whilst scratching, proposed.

Id asked her parents the night before so i took the bull by the horns.

The setting was the Meadows 1.

romantic as hell.

In Mirdiff....

Requested her dads permission when her parents came for a holiday here and then asked her a week later on 13th Feb just beofre we wento out for dinner. The 14th was too obvious and there was certain irony about the fact it was Friday the 13th.

Married a year later and we have just celebrated our "flower" anniversary. My God the florist must have loved me that day.....

I have a theory that alpha males marry young and it's men that are looking for wives and not women trying desperately to hitched. Nearly all of my successful mates married really young (around 24), compared to the rest of us. Probably as it's a status thing, you know, 'I have a wife, I am a MAN' kind of thing.

We married a few years later (;-0).

Yea I was only teasing............ my place is just over the border in East Sussex but I like Kent well enough. My son goes to a boarding school in Canterbury and driving there, and spending time there, is always a pleasure.......

My proposal, was along the same lines as Emiratesmillhouse..I got a call from my partner , he was working for Aramco at the time..He had applied for a job in Abu Dhabi and called to say he had got the job..but, wait for it....''The only problem was, it was married status, so we would have to be married''...PROBLEM!!!
