Where should I take the missus?
No rude answers please The Dean....
Thinking of taking her out for a nice meal, I realise there are a zillion good restaurants over here, but she loves seafood, and also thai,
any suggestions? I'm in Mirdif so maybe not somewhere a million miles away, and MM, not that place that cost you a million dirhams either please,
ta all...

Sukhothai at Airport Meridian.
There is a voucher in one of the Entertainer books too.

Twin Spice at the Ascot Hotel. Great Thai and Chinese restaurant, superb service, intimate seating, good bar and good wine list.
I can't rate this place enough, some of the best service I have experienced in Dubai.

Yum at Radisson is a favourite of ours. Did you get a loyalty card while you were there? It is free and you get 50% off food at lunchtime and 25% off in the evening. Also applies to Sumibiya, which is another fun place to go.

Spugsy - have you been to the Belgian Beer place at the Crown Plaza at Festival City?
They have several mussel dishes, including a Thai version, so could kill 2 birds so to speak. Not too far from you and a very interesting range of beers too.
