So how exactly so you manage to fit in cake then? Everyone knows that's an essential food group.

Awesome.

By distressed do you mean knackered or off banks etc?

We buy repossessions and do a quick job on them then rent them out to people who lets say would struggle to pass a credit check .

It's pretty high risk with the continuity of rent but we have a pretty robust method of collection . We have 6 at the moment but ideally would like 10.

Obviously i don't have much to do with the day to day crap as my two pals take care of that . We're thinking about converting them into flats specific for people who need full time care .

There's a massive premium on that if we can get the license . You're looking at 1200 - 1500 GBP per month per unit .

Mate , there's nowt charitable renting your houses out to smackheads and low lifes that's for sure but you've got to look for a better yield to make a decent return . Turning up for rent mob handed at 6am is no pretty sight either .

I need to get out of this game at some point mate , i still enjoy what i do but i'm accustomed to a certain lifestyle now and if i want to carry that on when i depart then i need assets that are returning me some cash .

Obviously it will not make me rich but it will keep my Mrs in Louboutin shoes ;)

THat's what it's all about.

I'd like to have a few properties, paid off by retirement age which will give me income steadily and capital when needed, if desperate.

That, or pray for smart kids so I get a decent retirement home. Little ****ers will NOT work in recruitment.

My Mrs is into property and has 6 houses so far. They're between 2 and 5 bed and full of students!

Make me feel a bit lame not having any property.... or not tied down, I can't decide which!

I have cut all that out anyway, I am on all lean meat, all fruit and veggies but trying to avoid carb laden stuff out. Basic meat and veg/salad diet. Nothing refined.

And you don't really need it. Low-GI veg, ie nothing starchy, is good.

I had falafel for lunch.

First lunch in a bloody long time that involved no meat. I don't think I eat a meal that doesn't contain meat (I don't eat brekkie - I know, I know).
