Can't imagine having any appetite at all.

I'll never be on death row so I imagine my last "known" meal before I die is whatever the airline is serving.

Tofu & mung bean salad with an elderflower & dandelion dressing

Just to counter this abomination;

Steak tartare, followed by a steak with blue cheese sauce.

A nice tofu turkey with non dairy cheese, and kale dental floss.

There must be some chemical / scientific / biological reason for this. Does tofu become a laxative under extreme stress or something? You know, shit all over the executioner?

On the basis that putting on weight wouldn't be an issue, nor would indigestion, then my last meal would have to include all my favourites: oysters with a squeeze of lemon juice and a drop of tabasco followed by blinis with caviar; pan fried fois gras with pan fried apple slices; steak tartare with quail's egg yolk; lobster tail in a champagne sauce; beef wellington; and to finish a vanilla panna cotta with champagne poached rhubarb. All of the aforementioned would, of course, have to be accompanied by an equally delicious champagne or wine followed by an entire pack of cigarettes (which I gave up some years ago) and as much of a bottle of Hine Antique cognac as I could manage.

Now I'm hungry ...
