The gift is simple in my house. I request the same each year... my annual supply of condoms.
I always get 9. We both know where we stand with that gift. No idea what she does with the other 3.

I am going to have to disagree. My husband hates gimmicky sh1t.
I know lots of blokes (who aren't gay) who like nice clothes. Not a crappy M&S jumper, but something more like a Paul Smith scarf for example.
For someone who enjoys reading - either signed early editions of books they love, or the latest from a favourite author.

The problem with buying clothes is it's hard to get something special as a gift as it's so personal with regard to taste, size, fit, etc. Which is why most clothing gifts are crap.
The best presents IMHO are not material objects anyway, but experiences eg. a nice weekend away somewhere, a flying lesson, threesome with hot Russian twins, that kind of stuff.

I rather hope that a woman might know her husband well enough to get the clothes right.
I was agreeing with your last sentance until you got to the twins. Never fancied Russians...

I'm not sure if it's something that's readily available over here, since I've not been here long, but have you thought about something like a personalised adventure day or something like that? My wife bought me a Ferrari Experience last Christmas last year which was amazing and not very expensive! Again not sure if it's something that you can do over here but if your other half likes cars and the like what about one of those Desert Driving course where you take a 4X4 out and drive like a madman!!!
Me personally, I wouldn't really care what the gift was as long as some thought went into it!
Hope I've helped in some way!!
