I suspect that the website has some kind of automatic trawling of other websites, electronic papers etc.

There's a list of sources, most of which seem reputable.

So, an article that says "More people in country X have AIDS due to war " gets interpreted as "war causes AIDS", when actually it'd be the lack of healthcare availablity which means HIV is undertreated and therefore progresses to AIDS...along with increased lawlessness -> rape ->HIV->AIDS

I think you'll find we've all worked that out, but do spoil the fun....
