Default Well that's that then....

HAd a meeting with my boss, he explained a few things as did I, it was a nice chat and we didn't pull any punches,

But in the last 2 days of sending my cv and portfolio out i've got 2 interviews lined up already and 4 other companies interested in me,

Looks like I'm moving on...I'm quite excited about it to be honest,

Spugs, I had a friend recently that was being jerked off by his company here..

the usual, they brought him here on peanuts, promised him raise after raise for 2 years, then said they were letting him go because he was too expensive!! (he still hadn't had a single pay rise).

2 months later he has a new job - his salary is 3 times his old basic..

he now earns so much he won't hang around with riff raff like me any more...

Fantastic news! I had an email from my friend thanking me for introducing you to him and he said you're an incredibly nice guy who is very creative and that you'll be able to find a job easily - clearly doesn't know you as well as we do then

Best of luck x

Good luck mate, fingers crossed that the new company, whomever they are, don't treat you as badly as your current employer.

In the words of Beard Man, I will pray for you - yeah, like that's ever gonna happen!

actually not at all, he said that even if I need to take the paycut in 5 weeks I can still stay and then just leave when I like, I'm sure I'll be gone by then.

yeah reckon we'll buy something very soon, and yeah, I need a more progressive company - and not a local company.

yeh but be careful. if they end it at the end of your probation it has very different legal implications to you ending it after that.

not a problem if your new company will be a free zone co.
