We say it is so, unless we are wrong.
Banks!
I needed a letter saying I have no liabilities.
My bank issues a letter with the following opening line:
"With exceptions to events of mistake, error and / or oversight, this is to certify that".........
Well DUH. Wish I could work that way.
Surely the absolute minimum a bank is responsible for is keeping records of current financial status of clients....and having them be correct.
And surely they can't rid themselves of this fundamental responsibility with a sweeping disclaimer like that!

I hate them with a passion. Second only to Etisalat. Both allegedly provide a service (for which I / my company have to pay), and yet both end up controlling my life and what my company can / cannot do. Tail wagging the dog. Come the revolution...
