washing machine repairs

sounds like the bearings on our machine machine are knackered - also maybe the water pump.

Is it possible to repair in Dubai, or do I just leave it on the drive for the pakistani fairies and buy a new one?

So the repair man comes out, arriving 6 hours later then he arranged, he stares at it for a while shaking his head. No sir I don't have the part I will have to come back, it will take 6 days to get the new part. 6 days later he calls, no sir I will have to come tomorrow. You arrange a time, he rocks up 8 hours later at 9 pm at night. Sorry Sir its the wrong part. I will call you tomorrow. You call him tomorrow, ah yes sir it will take 4 days for the correct part. 4 days later he arrives on time. He sets up to work, ah no sir I have the wrong tool, I will come back in an hour, An hour later he isn't back, you call him, no answer, you call him a further 17 times to no answer teh 18 th time some random guy answers who doesn't know anything abouta washing machine. 7 hours later he arrives with two friends and a hacksaw. You turn away shaking your head as he massacres your pipe. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! you scream the problem was with the bearings- not the f**king pipe! your blood reaches boiling point and you kill them all.

Buy a new one Millhouse!

What did you get, Top Loader Yank style or Euro front loader? I much much, and I do mean much, prefer the American top loaders over front loaders and absolutely detest the Oriental top loaders.

Top Loader is the way to go. In some things you just have to be pro-American, even if in your heart you support Hugo.

Top Loader with an American style agitator, one that comes all the way to the top. This style not only shakes the clothes left-to-right but circulates them from bottom to top.

Being very Obessive Complusive, I am quite picky about cleaning my clothes. Front loaders owing to only filling like 1/4 - 1/2 of the drum, never do a good job of completely soaking the clothes.

But they're shit, can't clean for toffy and wreck your clothes faster than a ex-cop gets gang raped in prison.

I went for the maid-loader version.

No need. I put it on the drive, came inside, put the kettle on - before it had boiled the door bell rings... Sir, can I take this?

It reminds me of the scene in the film "Lord of War" where Cage lands on some road in Africa, gets handcuffed and 24 hours later his fookusive plane basically isn't there.
