Anyone noticed the ad showing up on the forum these last few days, dustbag.co.uk? These guys are apparently shipping vacuum cleaner bags across the world to needy expats. 
Is there seriously a market in vacuum cleaner bags at all anymore? And if you do need them in your vacuum cleaner of choice would you not be better off buying them where you live? Or are british sourced bags of better quality or something?
To be honest this is what oobiedooobiedoscoobiehoobiee or whatever his name is should do (if there is money to be made) instead of moving here to earn AED9K all in (sorry wrong thread I know, but hey this is the useless information thread right?)..

Ignoring these nonsense ones. I do rather like how junctions are numbered on the major roads - i.e. how junction 403 follows 392, and it's 11km between the two. I think that's a really clever idea, much better than our 11,12,12a,13 rubbish where you have no idea on the distance between them.
