Default USA City Trivia

As its quiet in the office, I 've just been checking on the biggest fifty USA cities by population (2006) and was amazed to find Miami down in 43rd place. Also, San Francisco has a population of under 750,000 which surprised me. Seattle is no bigger than Bristol, England. And Boston didn't make the top 20.

How about more trivia for the Pub Quiz? Who recently became the first British female artist in 20 years to reach the no.1 spot on the USA pop charts? An extra point for the name of the song. It's a real cracker incidentally.

You have to count the suburbs and look at what are called MSMAs:

http://www.atlantahighered.org/arche...3extra_pop.asp

Once you do this, Miami is in 23rd place and Seattle's population is 2.4 million -- vs Bristol's area population of 550,000 or so. But hey -- I was surprised to learn that the City of London's residential population is less than 10,000.

Was too easy, she's been on the radio all week......pretty much like her brother who then disappeared. Anyway, she's not actually English, but Australian!

Try out his one...might be too easy...

What is the only US state not to observe any daylight saving time change during the year?

without googling, I'm going to say Arizona - although some of the Indian reservations in the state (eg Navajo) DO observe daylight saving time.
