I now have a very simple, 100% effective, and to me free solution. It was there all the time and I didn't realise - my existing VPN provider offers this service.

I'll PM people with the info but I won't post it publicly and I urge others not to post details of working solutions. These boards are scanned by people who want to stop VPNs working.

I have a reliable working solution that turned out to be totally painless and carrying no cost for me. I'll PM details to anyone who asks, but I won't post it publicly.

Coz they all have 'Spugsyitis'....

A condition where you gain a completely over-inflated sense of your importance and decide that it is beneath you to actually do the search, and then request a peon to do it for you....:rofl::rofl:

because those of us, say in Oman, or similar countries find that their service provider thinks that that particular word is p0rn and blocks all the websites. so getting a PM (for heaven's sake dont write it in the open) with the email address of a company is very useful.

Could someone please PM me with a working VPN solution? :D

Desperately need to watch some English TV now.. German channels just aren't the same, especially when you don't speak the language! lol.

LogMeIn Hamachi actually seems like a good solution at the moment.

Basically using a friends connection in the UK -very easy to setup!

it's in my post above ... i want something that works and don't mind paying for it. the last 'free' solution i looked at (filmon.com) actually said in its user agreement that they had the right to pass on you email address! im happy with paying a fiver a month and getting some privacy and support.
