Yes, because the natives are not in anyway full of hubris despite the fact fact that their entire state is built on the expertise and labour of 'sneering' foreigners. Indeed the majority of their wealth is from foreigners buying the oil which foreigners found and drilled out for them.
We could all go back home...and most of us will. Unlike the most of the foreigners in our countries who usually get passports and equal protection under the law

The country is 40 years old. So if they congratulate themselves on achievements, or make a big deal out of small stuff, then .... big deal.

You ever heard of weekends starting on days other than Saturday/ Sunday?
