TV through ipad - advice
#1
Hi Folks
Techie question, I subscribe to 'film on' where i get up to date tv mainly from the UK.. We all know that you have to take out a mortgage to get half decent tv through Etisalat and even then its loaded with rubbish..
I watch tv on my ipad but want to 'mirror' the viewing on my tv. Ipads do not have a USB or HDMI so any advice or guidance is welcomed.
Please be advised that i'm a techno dullard.
Thanks

If you have an Apple TV you can airplay your iPad's screen onto your TV. There are other ways to do the same thing but much more complicated.

It needn't be complicated at all - just buy an AV adapter cable, and plug your iPad directly into the HDMI port on your TV. Apple sells its own (naturally), and there are also various cheaper third-party ones as well.

As above you need Lightning to HDMI (or the old connector if it’s an older iPad). Easy peasy!

Sorry, that's a bit ambiguous. What do you mean? I've seen the cable used, and it just plugged in and worked.

google UK TV torrent sites, download programme into u torrent, transfer to USB and play through a media player direct on to screen.

Also, the main menu screen does not mirror via the cable but will mirror via the apple TV box.
That's my experience, anyway. I may be wrong.
I used the Apple TV - it's good.
