Default Turkey

Yes just been and bought a turkey, this year I wanted to have Roast Pork or Beef instead but the man of the house wants turkey, I don't even like it that much!

To be perfectly honest I prefer chicken-I always cook a turkey drier than a nuns fanny, I think its about a man eating a turkey leg- especially if its a big bugger- all primeval and all that!

try cooking it in an oven bag...works well for me.

I cook it for about 8 hours in a bag. High temp for about 45 mins, the low for the rest of the time.

Well last week after debating it for the last 25 years I actually bought a fantastically expensive corn fed French chicken, and it turned out to be the best roast chicken I can recall having!!!
