Morning all, how are we today?

It's glorious, it's Thursday. The week is over and it's been a long / short one for me with a trip overseas leaving only two days in the office. Lovely...especially seeing how toxic things in the office are at the moment, there's too much jiggery-pokery, back-stabbing and straight forward bullying going on for my liking. Such is.
Got to try and be sensible tonight as I've got brunch tomorrow and then golf on Saturday, early.
Other than that, a quiet-ish weekend with some studying needed to be done.

Im off to Sri Lanka for a week so rather looking forward to that.

Monsoon just kicked off today in Mumbai, hopefully the timing is a bit different for Sri Lanka

This will be my first weekend in UAE this Ramadan... no idea what I'll do.

Highlights of the week include me renewing my Abu Dhabi driving license and being told I'm now 10% body fat (although I never believe these sort of results). Was expecting the driving license to be a nightmare but did it via an app - totally painless and was able to avoid human interaction. Three months late doing it and the late fee was only 30dh. Was forced to do it after a small accident where the kind policeman let me off (1) the fine for causing the crash, and (2) the fine for not having a valid license. Guess he couldn't be bothered with the paperwork during Ramadan.

Have a sohor this evening (yawn) but might be found propping up the bar with my beautiful wife at LPM on Friday.

Flying home on Saturday, 2 weeks in God's own country (county). Golf, food, wine, family and ogling motorbikes.
