Though to his credit, Thierry Henry said on Friday "the fairest solution" to the row over his handball in the World Cup playoff against Ireland would be a replay.

The point is that every footballer will cheat if given the opportunity and most of the time they get away with it, but sometimes the result is just so important that people can't forgive you. This was exactly such a time, and the 'oh so popular' Henry knows he really messed up! Hence he immediately started the deflection strategy. He sat down on the pitch to console the Irish players FFS. What does that tell you?
Anyway..I'd rather have the French than the Irish in the World Cup so not really that bothered to tell you the truth...

Fair enough, but he's only saying that as he knows there is no way a replay will happen!
