I think there is as much chance of a Terrorist attack here as I have of sleeping with Kylie minogue. It ain't gonna happen. There are too mayny other nationalities mixed with British that in effect they would hit their own. Yes this has happened in the past, but I really can't see it happening here.
The only reason the British Gov announced this is because it's close to the anniversary of 7.7.05. I won't be changing my routine one iota. The weekend is nearly upon us......i shall be putting my head torch in my handbag tho...just incase;) |

Extensive rehearsals and “dry runs†are necessary to ensure stealth and speed during the attack Ultimate goal: inflict as many casualties as possible Prevention Traditional concepts of security are based on deterring terrorist attacks; assuming the terrorist fears death or capture however: a. Surveillance, particularly focusing on access points b. Dry runs to identify hazards or security checkpoints c. Purchase of, or illicit access to, facility blueprints d. Gaining access to compounds as part of the temporary workforce (Day jobs such as painting, upkeep, etc), ensure they come to do what they do and do not loiter, observe their work habits. Prevention: Tips Lists of basic external, behavioral indicators: a. Unseasonable dress or conspicuous, bulky clothes b. Obvious or awkward attempts to “blend in†to a crowd c. Repeated and nervous handling of parts of clothing d. Profuse sweating, slow-paced walking while focusing on sides e. Attempts to stay away from security personnel f. Hesitant, nervous muttering g. Perfumed, recently shaved, short hair h. 95% of suicidal attackers, (BBIED, VBIED) there was a single attacker. i. Wearing sunglasses j. Agitated k. Elated, smiling, happy l. Mumbling, reciting the Koran passages m. Protecting genitals n. Visibly altered appearance o. Marking on forearms p. Holding onto something, clenching fist q. Wire or toggle protruding from clothing/bag r. Cuts in clothing/bag A jacket containing plastic explosives with two pull cords - one to arm the device, the other to detonate it. Such a device would be worn under the outer garments of the suicide bomber. |

They also say that they have stained fingers from handling chemicals! Whenever I'm on the tube in London now I keep staring at peoples fingers :rofl: I usually get pretty specific information about certain hotels and clubs, but I have to be confidential about this to protect my source. |
