So the Anti-Terrorism Squad are not allowed to install cameras, hidden or otherwise, without first consulting the communities that may (and I emphasise "may") be harbouring terrorists. OK, confine access to who sees what goes on, but it beggars belief that both overt and covert surveillance can't happen. Strange, I thought we gave a mandate to the police and the security agencies to protect us--instead we're micro-managing their techniques. 'king unbelievable.
I'll be there on Airport Road in AD next Friday, protesting about the cameras they're putting up. I expect everyone's full support.

Shame I am in Saudi or I would maybe join you, we are putting the poles up for them
By the way no plans to put any up here in saudi although I have seen some dodgy poles been installed in Jeddah.

All the more daft that there's already CCTV almost everywhere in town centres. Did they ask about that?! Noooooo...
