Been looking out for a decent pair, was told to go for polarised lenses, which not many manufacturers produce. The 'fashion' lot ( Police, Prada etc ) look great, but not polarised lenses.

So far, have been limted to looking at Ray Ban ( P Range ) , some Oakleys and all Maui Jinn are polarised. RB's and MJ's fave so far.

For me, large Prada's with narrow arms with a silver stripe, discreet Prada logo you can barely see. HATE those sunglasses with massive diamante logos on the side - so tacky.

For men, I love the Mont Blanc or Cartier classic aviators.

Cancer council of Australia brand - at least when you buy your sunnies, you're contributing to cancer research funds and know they're at least SPF tested.

My husband had a pair of Oakleys with prescription lenses but the way they're shaped is apparently hard to make glass lenses to fit. So the lenses always popped out and eventually he lost one. He gets the el cheapo cancer council jobbies now. But he's not driving 6,500km across Australia because I hate flying now, so the prescription isn't so important.

That's correct kim, before I had lasik, I had prescription oakleys but I was limited to what model I could get and the lenses were a bit dodgy..

I only had laser surgery so I could wear oakleys...kidding..
