Very nice. Had a long and pleasant brunch yesterday. Not the hotel variety but at a mate's apartment. His wife (Spanish) made a massive spread and we ate and drank and talked on their balcony in the sun for about six hours. A lovely time.

Run, boozy afternoon on the canal at a lovely outdoor terrace (Cafe Artois), early golf yesterday where I sprayed the ball around like I've never held a club before gaining a mighty 21 points in the process . BBQ and beers at friends yesterday until it was time to see Saints win. Just a shame the Welsh beat Scotland but can't have it all.

I really need to limit my drinking to weekends only.

I feel like a lightweight though having read about your time home and then talking to a guy at work who is about 20 years older than me who finished at 2.30 this morning. I was in bed by midnight.
