Any new place will be home number 23 for me. And I don't even like moving.

I have a mosque 4 doors down, love listening to the call to prayer. I don't have annoying neighbours though, nor am I overlooked

It is dangerous, but its their choice. I still take fluid with me when training during ramadan, just be more sensitive where and when consuming. Its going to be a right **** of a muslim to report a cyclist or jogger for taking a swig of water in July/august whilst out training.

Darling...they are NOT doing cardio nor are they doing heavy weights.........this is my 9th ramadan here and I have trained fasting muslims every year without any problem. Which is why I switch my timetable to make sure that they are not training in the mornings and they go home, rest and then break their fast
I make sure they all know about hydrating before and during Ramadan and that they all know the best things to eat before and after fasting.

I agree.

I am in UK now and will be off to Cyprus soon and then back to UK before returning to UAE at the end of August.

We are between two that have particulalry loud and unmelodic imams. I have no issue with the call to prayer, but these sounds awful and turn the Friday rant up to 11. I can live with it, but he gets irritated.

We have 1 imam who obviously gets sent around the mosques in the area so that everybody suffers ..he sounds like a cat being castrated..we get him every 3/4 weeks. 1 of my local ladies even complained to the 'mosque committee' about him

They really should have Iman Idol! The bad ones are just horrendous. I have no idea why it has to be so loud. We have one who likes to blast the very first morning ones at 200 decibels sometimes. Bit of a shock when you are sound asleep in the small hours!

People complain regularly so it gets turned down, then the git turns it back up again. I really don't see why people can't just use an alarm clock these days...

Summer in 'limbo'......... (I've heard the weather's OK there) - going to be in UK in August for a hospital operation that I have been putting off for some time

Also I suspect Deanlet will need to go through university clearing round about then so I'll no doubt be helping with that............
