found vpn annoyingly slow so use an annonomiser now. pain is i need to load it up every time i want to go to a blocked site. its free though so cant complain too much

I'm going through Witopia right now and it's fine... I was turning it on and off as required - but just leaving it for now as speed not really affected it seems...

What I would like to know is this: it prevents you from looking at porn (and things that it thinks are porn), but how does it know? What technology does it employ to tell them what is a port site? Surely they can't look at every single site on the web individually to see whether they are port sites or not? Does anybody know?
