Only problem I foresee is if he keeps it going he might actually "Believe" he has does have a problem.
Give him a load of calpol - or vodka - and take it from there.

This story has gone on for ages... longer than it would take to put the little bastard on a P&O crusie back to Southampton for sure.
There was talk of driving but he couldn't get a visa for Saudi. I'd love to do the drive back.

yeh it would be fine, i would do it, you would just have to rush through but maybe now you wouldnt get a permit to drive that way anyways. do a round the world trip like michael palin and get a ride on a container ship, oh wait, no that wouldnt work, i know dealing with any sort of anxiety is a nitemare, but think the only way is to surprise him and medication, short and swift, in these sort of circumstance with anxiety you need to build up slowly.... etc, but think now after 1 year the time has come to just get on and do what is necessary to get an outcome. what happens if there "is a real need" to leave this shores.....!!!
