the professor was arrested for being very aggressive and abusive towards the police who were called to the house because of a suspected burglary. apparently he called the officer's mother a whore or bitch or something of the like. No surprise he was arrested.
Obama stuck his nose in without knowing the facts and has just had to eat a rather large slice of humble pie!

The police did just pull over and challenge because he was black. They were called out. You would probably also be arrested if you were aggressive to them and started insulting their mothers!

Hey Insey...the guy was badly treated by the Police on his own doorstep. Wouldn't you get just a little upset? And why should you believe the Police version of events anyway? They made a huge mistake and tried to cover-up the error by putting the blame on the victim.

It's a pity the big man didn't get his facts right before speaking out - don't disagree with the sentiment, but clearly the wrong example.... sure the press could find plenty of genuine cases of "ethnic profiling" every day on the streets of the US. Or London.
