Speeding Taxis
You're in a taxi and the driver is speeding.
You know there's a camera coming up and he's still speeding.
Do you tell him about the camera?

I was OK (belted in) but his sandwich splattered against the front of the glove compartment...............
..........messy but entertaining...........

I didn't warn him and he got flashed (so presumably fined).
Felt a little guilty after as I could have saved him what is likely a large sum for him.

simple - if he's speeding he deserved to get fined. I usually tell them to slow down. Then they start jabbering on the mobile phone, this really irritates me but what really pisses me off is when they deliberably short change you thinking they will get a large tip

I consider myself a good tipper, but if any of them try and short change me, they receive nothing.... And not just taxis....

Then you ask why taxi services are so poor, do you this could be related?
"It's Mr. TGF wanting a taxi, better send the new guy...".

Re: Speeding Taxis
If I am alone then I would leave the driver to do what he is being paid to do, namely drive. If I have my family with me, however, I would shout in his ear SLOW DOWN, YOU ARE SPEEDING because it might cause an accident. Not very logical but then neither am I.
