...are driving me nuts, from companies i haven't even heard of, so god knows how they got my number, anyone know how to stop them...?

the law here on co.s (including etisalat and du) is very lax on selling subsciber data. hence the plethora of crap sms messages we all get. every time you give a delivery co you number, a shop, restraunt etc they are all able to sell the numbers onto marketeers

...just give out your landline telephone number...they can't SMS a landline, no?

I used to get them all the time and they pissed me right off.When i switched to pay as you talk they stopped.it was worth it just for that!

Huh..how do you get text on a landline..or is that one of those new fangled phones ? Mine's just a phone.
