Any recommendations for a place in AD where I can get an out of warranty iPhone 4 repaired?

I think it's best to take it back to where you purchased it and ask - there's probably an authorised service centre here, there are too many dodgy repair shops who do bad jobs on the cheap here.

I'm a blackberry user but planning to get an iphone - any suggestions on the best place to buy/what sort of package to get?

This was the phone used by a former employee, who's since left the Company. The phone was bought in the UK, so not really an option to return it and anyway it's out of warranty.

Their phones are supplied factory unlocked so all you'll need to do is swap your current SIM for a Micro Sim. Costs 50 Dhs.

I took my 3gs to the apple shop in Dubai opposite York Hotel, they would only look at Du or Etisalat phones under warranty, so I went to Dragon Mart, big mistake they had it for 4 weeks before admitting defeat, I am back in the UK at the minute and have just taken it in and was quoted 30 quid to repair.

Just wait a week or two and they'll release a new version
