Just off to M&S food Hall, stopping on the way for fish & chips with gravy and a bacon butty. Greggs cheese pastie later! Followed by a heart attack!

Stotties! Didn't eat them much back in the UK but funny how I miss them.

funnily enough I do miss it, the cold dark nights, the rain, out running and you can see your breath,
also - pubs you can just go to that are really close by and have a few pints
cab drivers who aren't idiots who will almost kill you by yapping on their phones whilst driving
going to the match
proper fish & chips
girls going out dressed in very little
but to be honest life is fantastic out here, so I may miss it but I'm certainly not complaining

the chippy on SZR closed down. The best two places for british grub were the Country Club and Nad Al Sheba. HH very kindly closed them both down. Try Emirates Golf club for a good english brekkie, I have heard it's good.
