Skiing in Iran

Skiing in Iran
Hello, A few friends and I would love to go skiing in Iran (an American and an Italian). We are currently living in Dubai. Has anyone done this? Is it expensive and what is the best way to plan a long weekend trip to Dizin or another Iranian ski resort (and I use "resort" very loosely)?

Re: Skiing in Iran
I haven't been ski-ing, but getting the Iranian visa can be costly.
Once you are there everything is pretty cheap (even flights)
Best thing to do (if you are in Dubai) is to go to Sadaf Travel in the Iranian Club. There is a very helpful lady called Shabnam who can help sort your visa.
It should cost around Dh1,000 and will be single trip.

If you are going with ladies they have to wear ski apparel that is long enough to cover their bottom areas, front and back or so I understand from friends hwo have gone. No abbayas, but conservative dress.

They will need to wear headscarves the whole time, and they will need to be covered (no arms, no legs showing etc. Men are not supposed to wear shorts in public and are supposed to wear long sleeves but I have seen it)
Abayas are advisable as they are easier to wear
