I'm back- 3 days of paradise- was AWESOME! I feel chilled and ready for the world again- bit sunburnt but that is normal for me.
I managed to cram in loads, did some island hopping, went into the rain forest and spent some quality time on the beach and snorkeling. Totally beautiful- you could spend a lot of money there though! But anyway if anyone is interested here's some pics

Glad you enjoyed it - we spent 2 weeks there but didn't really enjoy it. Perhaps it was too long and maybe we went at the wrong time of year etc. Great pictures.

Spugs, I know- it was beautiful, great for snorkeling in as you could see all the little fishies and some big ones!
Soukie, I could have stayed for longer and would have liked to have done more island hopping, I was staying on Mahe and managed to see Praslin and La Digne. I would have liked more time on La Digne to go exploring and enjoyed cycling around the island. There were some excursions I would have liked to have done to some of the nature reserve islands and I could have spent a few days on a boat, I also could have spent my entire savings as it is expensive, so 3 days was good as it meant I could only spend so much. The thing I like about travelling alone is that you end up chatting to the locals more who then tell you where to go and whats best to see and what to avoid. I did cover most of the must see things but would have liked a bit more time to see things more leisurely rather than being a power tourist, but then I'm not one for actually switching off and chilling out as I always end up feeling guilty as I know there is more to do and see. Anyway I'd happily go back- I'd stay somewhere nicer though as my hotel was a bit 'meh'.
Now where next? I need a trip for November...
