UK, Australia, Abu Dhabi. Will stick around here for another 2-4 years, then fancy KL or Laem Chabang, followed by Houston and then down to Brazil for what's left.

I have no intentions of returning to the UK, however as someone said before a lot of people start the expat thing with the same opinion and end back home. Time will tell I guess.

Next stop maybe Aus, Canada or back to Europe. Not the uK

You clearly don't use British Expats Forum very often. Probably explains why you still enjoy life in Dubai so much.

Not a bad place for British expats, quite a few there but after Dubai do you really fancy a move to a place where English isn't the first language.

What about Scotia! my dear, my native soil, safe haven for English expats however language may still be an issue.

Must admit I prefer Dubai as it was about 20 years ago!!

Planned to leave in 1998 but family bereavement changed that!

Exactly. Everyone says Dubai is a soft expat posting so I thought I'd go for somewhere tough next time: All that rain and whining.

I suspect my next move will be within the GCC - either back to Abu Dhabi or to Bahrain.
