In fairness, my Dad's older than you so I was wrong from the start.
I'm assuming that your old man is a milkman? If so, I can't believe they still exist. I miss having milk delivered in a glass bottle. I don't miss Mum making me test the 6 bottles in the fridge for which were OK and which were sour. Disgusting job.

Fine. The truth is this; cabbie asked if I was Syrian. I said with a smile, No. Before I could say British, he nodded knowingly and I instantly assumed he was going to suggest something like Lebanese or something very similar and close. Nope. Next he suggested, believe it or not that I was, and I quote (roughly); "Afghani/Pakistani". Caught me by surprise.
