....rammed, bloody rammed - not sure how many 'sold out' is but it was too many people. Keane okish, Idris Elba DJing was a joy and Florence and the Machine were spectacular.
Next one is October with the Killers, not that will be superb

Totally agree, FAR too rammed, I found it all too much like hard work, must be getting old. Florence was amazing though, although we left just before she finished in attempt at beating horrific queues to get out ...... still took 40mins to get a taxi .....!
And not impressed with the not allowed to take any unopened cans out rule ....they were bought and paid for, in a zipped up bag, and we have a licence! 4 cans of Strongbow in the bin!!

VIP was worth the money. Busy but not too rammed. Booze was way too pricey.
Keane - alright, decent
Florence - great

Were Keane off-form then? Usually a very good live act indeed...........

Florence was amazing, her voice carries so well - and I left before GA as I'd been in Barasti since 1 so was fairly sozzled.
Killers on next, that'll be amazing.

I always think Keane raise their game for Keane fans more than for, say, a festival or 'general' audience........... although they were astonishing at V a few years ago:

We had the bright idea of having a sneaky drink at Atlantis before heading to the show.
Meant we got a free ride on buggy to back door of event, which is really the front side of stage, next to VIP areas, as we walked in we realised we were bloody close to stage, on a nice slope, and had a perfect view of florence and machine, perfect sound.
Only as we were leaving via front gates did we realise how big the crowd was.
