Hey guys and gals,

I would appreciate some advice here.
I stay in Khobar KSA and I need to get a tourist visa to visit Russia in 3 weeks!
Found out today that it can't be done by post....apparently you have to drop docs off in person!!@*!! I don't really have the time to fly to Riyadh. Does anyone know of a way to get this done without me having to go to Riyadh personally? Haven't found any agencies etc locally that can do it for you.

Lots of agents in Khobar who process visas. Ask in a good travel agent.

Try a google search. You will find many hits e.g.

Unfortunately I’ve had no luck, has to be done in person…obviously a Saudi/Russian thing!!!!
Even when I tried my HR guy, with all his contacts failed....not surprising really!!!

Amazingly, just found somewhere and apparently the only authorised place that does it! They are based in Riyadh, but at least I can do everything by post.

I had problems in getting a visa for Iran when I was working in Dhahran. So many obstacles were placed in my way that I had to give up. I got the feeling that was the aim of both Iranian and Saudi authorities ! It is worth trying different avenues and different agents.
